Exclusive: Gretchen’s Rossi’s ‘ex’ to take lie detector test
An upcoming court showdown has just taken a dramatic new turn for Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi.
Gretchen has taken out a temporary restraining order against Jay Photogiou, who may or may not have been her secret lover, depending on whose version of the story you believe. She claims Jay threatened to kill her and her dogs and burn down her house.The two are headed to court on March 27.
Now RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Jay will take a lie detector test and present the results in court!
Jay told RadarOnline.com that he will answer the key question: Did you threaten to kill Gretchen?
Gretchen, 31, filed the original restraining order request March 6. The Reality TV star has had more drama than a marathon of Lifetime TV movies! In court papers she claimed Jay tried to break into her house, threatened to strangle her in the middle of the night and hang himself in her bedroom to prove they lived together.
She says they never had a romantic relationship. He says they did. She has given interviews, however, where she says they dated for a very short time before she was engaged to Jeff Beitzel, who is now deceased.
It’s a never-ending war of words between the Bravo star and her ex (or maybe not) lover.

Now the Real Housewives of Orange County star is getting cozy with Slade Smiley. The two were snapped Wednesday on a boat in Newport Beach applying suntan lotion on each other and kissing. Slade was former O.C. Housewife Jo De La Rosa’s ex-fiancé. He also dated another ex-O.C. Housewife, Lauri Waring.
I guess I don’t understand why people give a crap about what Gretchen did or didn’t do? Especially Tamra. Jeff was married more than a few times. I don’t think he was fooled by anything. He liked to show off his pretty young toy and it sounds like their relationship was what both of them wanted. Even his kids admitted she took good care of him those last months. She could have high tailed it out of there and started her search for a new patron, as it were.
Tamra gets paid quite well for being a trophy wife, so I’m not sure why one gold digger is worse than another. Why is she so indignant?
Jeff’s kids said she took care of him WHEN SHE WAS THERE, but that when she wasn’t “She sure made up for the time she missed drinking and partying”. Get your facts straight. I don’t understand why you people defend this plastic, horse-faced whore? She spent Jeff’s money, lived in HIS house, drove HIS vehicles and made a fool of him as he was dying. Meanwhile she was out getting her hole plugged by Jay, Slade and probably Tamra’s son too. She’s a gold-digging, cheating attention whore with nothing going for her but her ability to put out for money.
What kind of mature (she’s 31, she SHOULD be mature…) woman blows a Dollar Tree plastic whistle and yells “HOTTIE ALERT!”? Yeah. That’s right. An insecure, immature attention whore who’s looking for her next conquest. THAT’S who. By the time she ran off to Vegas for her girls’ weekend, she must have realized Jeff was going to give her the boot. She was definitely on the prowl for her next bottomless wallet that weekend, and anyone who says differently is lying.
Whoever left comment #2 did NOT address the fact that Tamra is just as bad as Gretchen. She is also a gold digger who lives off her husband and tries in vain on a daily basis to look hot and young (but it’s not working)
No one can say that Gretchen is anything but gorgeous, so get over the jealousy. I am an attractive gal and I can look at Gretchen and say that she is beautiful. Because secure women can do that. Who cares if she dated Jeff for his money……he dated her for her looks so what’s the friggen differnce?? Do you think all his 5 ex-wives were any differnt???? Gretchen will always have many options open to her that others won’t, and those “others” are insecure and jealous. They need to concentrate on ehancing their own lives instead of gossiping about Gretchen.
Who cares about Tamra? This blog is NOT about Tamra! Go find a blog about Tamra and leave your acidic comments. This isn’t the Tamra blog — this is the Gretchen blog. I think the difference here is that while Tamra MIGHT have married her husband for his money, Gretchen TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A DYING MAN FOR HIS MONEY. Got it, idiot? Tamra’s husband — being of sound mind AND BODY — married her. Jeff was a very sick man who was confined to the hospital, dying of a terminal disease and didn’t even know what Gretchen was doing.
In case you didn’t understand the operative phrase in the previous paragraph, let me repeat it: JEFF WAS DYING. GRETCHEN WAS TAKING FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL ADVANTAGE OF A TERMINALLY ILL MAN. He was in the ICU for months at a time DYING and didn’t even know what she was up to in the outside world. She is the lowest of the low, and so is anyone who defends her actions.

It appears that this is a Real Housewives blog, not a Gretchen blog. So questioning Tamra’s role in all of this negative focus on Gretchen is appropriate. Jeff was not ill when he hooked up with Gretchen; he was diagnosed after they were together. He didn’t have to buy her the Harley from his deathbed; he didn’t need to order the ring. And he was a big boy, sick or not, and he wasn’t exactly a model of fidelity having been married 5 times.
Of course, Gretchen is an attention whore. She’s on a reality show. They are all attention whores. That’s not a defense of Gretchen. I really just don’t understand what makes her that much worse than all the others? And Jeff signed a waiver to appear as well. They let Lauri out of her contract for her personal issues, so Jeff could have rescinded his waiver as well, but didn’t want to. Quite frankly, I feel they are all vile.

When Slade was on that dating show with Jo (before this season of the OC wives began), he wrote in one of his blogs that he was dating a Gretchen Rossi, said how “hot” she was and that we’d see “a lot more of her”. I assumed he meant on his show with Jo. Well, when the OC wives came on, I went to his blog and asked about his relationship with her and how did she end up on the OC wives with a fiancee? That seems to be another ghost in her closet? I am glad that Tamra, Jeana, etc., finally “outed” Gretchen’s long bed of lies.. In my opinion, it would be highly unlikely that Gretchen will be invited back. BRAVO is concerned at the very negative reaction to Gretchen and Slade’s whirlwind week-long photo-op tour. Yes, much of it for publicity. At the very least, the powers that be are hedging their bets until Jay has his day in court.
I also hear that some quality REAL people with interesting REAL life stories who already run in the same social circle as some of the housewives are throwing their hat into the ring for consideration at being cast in Season 5.
WAS POSTED TODAY MARCH 26TH @ REALITY TEA In the never ending drama of the OC housewives, Jeff’s ex wife and mother of his three children Sharon spoke out recently and cleared the air on the whole Gretchen issue. She posted this as a comment on our other blog. We were able to verify with 100% certainty that the comment was indeed written by Sharon. What she had to say is very interesting.
“My kids do NOT and NEVER have adored Gretchen….they know exactly what she’s about and what she’s up to and has been up to all along and their Dad knew it too. My daughter, Jill making any statement re. Gretchen explained that she simply doesn’t want anymore negative comments written about her Dad which is embarrassing and hurtful to her and her brother and sister. Jill appearing to defend Gretchen (slightly) is done only to quiet any negative statements made about her Dad period. Our three kids, Jennifer, Jill and Jake (Lizzy is not Jeff’s daughter, nor mine…she’s a long-time friend of our daughter Jill) are not fans of Rossi at all and how they describe her in real terms, isn’t nice and hasn’t been nice historically. The fact is, Jeff was never going to marry her and she knows it but likes to play it like they were so much in love (gee…wonder why???). I’ve known Jeff for 25 years and I did visit him in August while he was in the hospital at which time we talked a lot. What I know is totally different than what Gretchen portrays which means, I know the truth and she knows that I know the truth. Sometimes I feel pity for her which is about the most I can feel given all of her lies over the course of time. I really feel sorry for her family, especially her Mom.
My kids are so far above Gretchen in integrity, self-respect and character that it’s really embarrassing that they were ever exposed to her to begin with. Jeff said he was lonely and knew that he appeared desperate to a lot of people, probably both and not unlike a lot of people that are in their mid-life. Gretchen badgered him into being part of this show to begin with and Tamra exposing Gretchen for the fraud she is was gutsy even knowing that she’d experience some backlash from it. Gretchen screwing around on Chris with Jeff and on Jeff with Jay and Jay with Slade naturally would have it’s downside and if Gretchen believed that all of this would remain secret means that she is about as intelligent as a box of rocks. So….Jay exposed her…she’s earned all the disrespect she’s been given and gives to others and if she believes she deserves an iota of respect at all, well….I’m back to the box of rocks intellect again.

RadarOnline.com has learned that Photoglou says he took two polygraph examinations on March 21 and passed both. Questions with answers included:

Photoglou’s lawyer wanted to introduce the results in court but the hearing was continued until May 8. Someone should film a reality TV show with all this drama. Oh wait, they already did!
