Teresa Giudice Hustling Her Ass Off To Pay Off Debts, Joins Celebrity Apprentice, Plus Request For Bankruptcy Withdrawn!
It was reported Teresa and Barney Devito got cornered up against a wall by a 11 million dollar lynch mob of creditors and other people they fucked over who were carrying pitchforks and torches because of Teresa and Barney Devito’s little fraud and money scandals they were allegedly involved in, causing both of them to finally be forced willing to pay their debts and withdraw their request for bankruptcy. Teresa says she is scared to shit of going to jail and becoming someones bitch wants to pay back her debts. Her attorney says she feels “vindicated” to pay her debts.
“Teresa and Joe are happy about this,” Teresa’s bankruptcy attorney Jim Kridel tells PEOPLE. “Teresa has always wanted to be able to say that she paid her creditors.”
For a while, though, that didn’t seem to be a possibility, with joint debts totaling nearly $11 million – the combination of mortgages on inner city apartment buildings Joe owned, bills for building materials and the balances of multiple credit cards.
“Almost all the debt in the bankruptcy was Joe’s debt,” Kridel explains, adding that Teresa, 39, “wanted to pay” various credit card bills and smaller debts, which totaled near $100,000, but couldn’t once they’d filed the petition. Once a bankruptcy has been filed, creditors cannot be paid preferentially.
But now that several of the banks have been repaid from the sale of apartment buildings Joe had owned, and a former business partner’s $586,000 claim againt Joe was settled through a building’s sale, the remaining debts are within a manageable range, Kridel says.
“The cost of litigation might exceed what she owes,” he says. “She may not be able to pay all [her creditors] with one check, but she can pay them back. She wants to do the right thing.”
Well it looks like this may become true for Teresa, since besides their buildings selling which helped in getting their debt smaller; her punk ass is now also signing up with all kinds of different revenue making ventures in order to pay up their 11 million dollar tab. Teresa was reported to sign up with a teeth whitening company and now she is also rumored to be joining Celebrity Apprentice so she can get “fired” later (cause you know she will). Yep bitch gotta hustle and make that money!

I think a lot of this was spurred by the fact that they had a 2nd wedding out on Long island that they bragged about, invited 200 guests to & sold the pics to Life & Style Magazine. Tree bragged she had a 25k dress & 8k cake not to mention all the other crap she bought for her girls to wear & food and a band. It is rumored to have costs 150K all said and done & Bravo only picked up a small part of it & Life and Style paid only a few thou for the pics. These people will be kicked out of their gaudy mansion before 2012 & the RH franchise is going down in flames so all her promo deals will run out or tank. Celeb Apprentice??? I have heard 3 other housewives in the running too so I’d be super surprised if Tree gets chosen, but she could be this seasons crazo, female Gary Busey.

It’s amazing how government works with wayward citizens to put them on the right track! No retribution. It’s reassuring, in a way! Jail and government assistance are paid by taxpayers; this way is right in the long run.
They’re happier paying their debts, even though it meant sales of some of their properties, just like normal people take satisfaction in doing the right thing.

Louise, I think you’re delusional when it comes to the Giudices. They’re not paying what they owe because it’s the right thing to do. They are total narcissists who couldn’t give a shit about the people they stiffed.
The truth is, they got caught one too many times with their hand in the proverbial cookie jar. My guess is that they were told to pay their debts or face jail time for bankruptcy fraud. Between the hinky book-signing deal, the continued over-the-top spending, and the obscene amount of money that they spent on their fraudulent second wedding, the Federal Court has plenty of proof that they are able to pay their debts and were just refusing. Must suck to be a Giudice.
